Bahrain Malayali Business Forum Kicks Off "Help & Drink 2025" Initiative, Bringing Relief to Labourers

The Bahrain Malayali Business Forum (BMBF) has successfully launched the 11th edition of its highly anticipated "Help & Drink 2025" program. This unique initiative, known for its significant public presence and active participation, is a crucial mission undertaken by BMBF for the past 10 years to provide aid and care to laborers enduring Bahrain's harsh summer heat and winds. The three-month-long program commenced with great success. The event served as a prominent platform, gaining substantial support from various ministries and social service organizations. The presence of esteemed guests added immense significance to the ceremony. Mr. Yousif Yaqoob Lori, Head of Information & Follow-up Section, Capital Governorate, officially inaugurated the program. Mr. Ahmed Aqeel Faqihi, Vice President, Labour Relations, Bahrain Free Labour Union Federation, Ms. Sara Al Naimi, Vice President,  Occupational Health & Safety, Bahrain Free Labour Union Federation, Mr. Antony Paulose, Coordinator, Together - We Care, Ms. Smitha Jensen, President, Indian Ladies Association complimented BMBF for the initiative.

Various organizational and media representatives, including Abraham John, Pradeep Puravankara, Jyothi Menon, Mussahaji, Moideen Payyoli, Rajeev, Najeeb, Sathyan Perambra, Anwar Kannur, Khayis Kannur, Anwar Shuranad, Hussain Wayanad, Edathodi Bhaskaran, ACA Bakker, Sibarco Management, as well as representatives from the Philippine and Nepalese communities, establishment owners, the BMBF Youth Wing, and local and foreign organizational representatives, along with the BKSF & BMBF Volunteer Team, played a full and active role in making the event a resounding success.

The program successfully provided a range of vital assistance, including medical check-ups, health awareness programs, and the distribution of food, drinking water, and energy drinks.

The event concluded with a welcome address by General Secretary Basheer Ambalayi and a vote of thanks delivered by Charity Convener Subair Kannur.
